These high power professional illuminators combine a full 14” x 17” viewing panel and a 4” spot viewer in one unit. Light intensity is controlled by a rugged variable transformer for both viewing areas. An optional iris diaphragm can be slid in front of the 4” spot to provide an adjustable round film masking. A fan cooled high heat absorber between the light sources and window protects the radiographs. Two versions are available, one has a single 300 watt flood light for the spot while the updated version uses two 300 watt halogen bulbs in the spot. Constructed of steel and finished in a textured blue enamel, both units come complete with lamps, foot switch and an 8 ft. 3 wire line cord. Dim 14”D x 25.5”W x 16.25”H.
Strip Film Illuminator
The strip film illuminator is designed to provide the ultimate in hi-intensity illumination. 1000 watts of bright illumination is produced by four photoflood bulbs. A built-in internal heat absorbing glass protects film from heat damage, The cooling system utilizes a power driven air supply with replaceable air filters. An electronic brightness control and low light level writing light are mounted at the front of the viewer. A foot switch is also provided. A set of four steel masks are available for reading 4-1/2” x 10”, 3-1/2” x 17”, 3-1/2” x 10” and 70mm film.

STRUCTURIX PMC Strip (Process Monitoring Control) These X-ray pre-exposed strips for PMC are produced under controlled, consistent conditions guaranteed by ISO 9001 and by Agfa's own QA procedures. You can buy certified PMC strips for classification compliance tests (EN 584-2 and ISO 11699-2), and non-certified strips for the processing control described in Annex A of the standards. PMC strips can also be used on a day-to-day basis to provide control data as part of your quality management system (ISO 9000). Every box of PMC strips comes with detailed instructions for use, plus a PMC chart to record results and demonstrate compliance with the standard. Certified PMC strips come with a certificate of EN 584 conformity, including general information on EN 584-2 procedures. STRUCTURIX Certified Denstep EN 584-2 and ISO 11699-2 require that processed film strips be evaluated with a densitometer which must have been calibrated with a reference wedge. The STRUCTURIX Certified Denstep is an X-ray film step tablet for calibrating optical densitormeters used in NDT and industrial X-ray procedures. Each tablet : is protected against fumes, dust, etc. by a light-tight, waterproof package; comes with a verification certificate and a copy of the NIST certificate S.R.M. 1001. The density values reported, cross-referenced to the certificate by serial number, can be matched to NIST (United States National Institute of Standards and Technology) through traceable calibrations of the instrumentation and procedures in accordance with Agfa's ISO 9001-approved QA system.

"Pocket Pal" SM-12 has been designed to meet industry's needs for a small portable densitometer. With a range of 0 to 4.00D, the "Pocket Pal" provides a quick and effective method to verify that your B&W or x-ray film processor meets all quality control requirements. No separate light source is required, just insert the film, align the area to be read, and press a button. The SM-12has alignment marks for easy film positioning. Exposed and processed control film should have a density patch at least 0.2" (5mm) wide to avoid critical alignment. The push button switch "wakes up" the PocketPal with a stable reading in 1 second. The digital display indicates density values from 0.00D to 4.00D in 0.01 increments. SM-12 readings are calibrated for films with silver emulsions. Convenient nylon protective carrying case is optional.
